Young Authors is a writing contest sponsored by the Crystal Coast Reading Council
and the NCRA for students in grades K-12. An adult entry category called Forever Young is also available. State and local winners receive recognition and a published book with all the winning entries. The theme for the 2023-2024 Young Authors’ Project is “Reflections: Celebrating the Me I See.” Young authors are encouraged to share their own special stories. It could be about the impact of a special experience, moment, story, or person in your life, and how that has impacted the way you see yourself. Authors may write prose or poetry, fiction or non-fiction. All entries must be submitted electronically via the NCRA Google Form. There will also be a cover design contest for anyone interested in creating a cover design for the publication. Please contact Amy Lee and Angela Skrabec, our local Young Authors Co-Chairs, for more information. ([email protected], a[email protected]) |
